Commitment to diversity, sport and social cohesion at RIGK in 2025

As the year draws to a close, RIGK looks back on a year in which, alongside its operational activities, social engagement also played an important role. This was not about grand gestures, but about continuous support in areas that are essential for community, safety and social cohesion.

Diversity in everyday working life

Diversity, equal opportunities and respectful interaction are integral to everyday working life at RIGK. Different perspectives and experiences are regarded as a natural and valued part of collaboration. This approach is also reflected in RIGK’s recognition as one of the “Best Employers in Hesse” in the Great Place to Work competition.

Sport brings people together – and that is exactly what we support

RIGK is actively involved in regional grassroots sport through the sponsorship of various clubs, including football, handball and gymnastics. The aim is to strengthen existing structures that provide children and young people in particular with opportunities for physical activity, a sense of community and reliability. A strong regional focus is central to this commitment.

Taking responsibility – supporting projects that make a difference

In 2025, another key focus was the support of selected social projects. These included, among others, a workbook for primary school children designed to support cycle training. The workbook conveys important road safety rules in an age-appropriate way and helps prepare pupils for their cycling proficiency test. In addition, materials such as bicycle helmets are provided to further improve children’s safety in road traffic.

RIGK also places great importance on social engagement during the Christmas season. Under the motto “Donations instead of gifts”, RIGK supported the Idsteiner Land Hospice Foundation this year. The foundation aims to establish a hospice in the region to support people in the final phase of their lives and to accompany their families and loved ones.

Social responsibility as part of corporate conduct

Markus Dambeck, Chairman of the Management Board of RIGK GmbH, comments on the company’s commitment:
“Social responsibility is not an add-on for us; it is an integral part of how we do business. We support projects that deliver tangible benefits and have a positive impact in our region.”

RIGK would like to thank all partners and initiatives for their cooperation over the past year and wishes everyone a peaceful Christmas season and a healthy and successful New Year.
