RIGK at IFAT & PRSE 2026 – Let’s navigate our way towards a circular economy together

With IFAT in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies, and the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) in Amsterdam, the key meeting point for the plastics recycling sector, two flagship industry events will take place in parallel for the first time in 2026. Both platforms bring together decision-makers, innovation leaders and hands-on experts, providing the ideal setting to put circular economy principles into practice and make progress measurable.

Visitors can expect a practical, solutions-focused portfolio covering take-back systems, compliance services and innovative recycling concepts.

Circular economy as a strategic opportunity

“2025 was a challenging year for our industry – economic pressure, rising costs and new EU requirements such as the PPWR kept many companies busy. IFAT and PRSE 2026 are therefore particularly important: together with our partners, we can present practical solutions, intensify dialogue with customers and demonstrate that the circular economy is not just an obligation but a genuine opportunity for sustainable competitiveness,” explains Jan Bauer, Managing Director of RIGK.

The past year has shown that companies integrating circular economy principles early into their corporate strategy strengthen resource efficiency, resilience and long-term competitiveness.

Guidance on new regulatory requirements

Increasing demands from European legislation make strategic advisory services a key building block. Together with PACKLIANCE, RIGK supports companies in understanding their obligations at an early stage and translating them into workable processes – from analysis through to operational implementation. In this way, compliance becomes not merely a requirement but an integral part of a sustainable corporate strategy.

Holistic solutions along the value chain

RIGK supports companies across the entire packaging lifecycle – from take-back and recovery to compliance, recycling and material quality. Systems such as RIGK-SYSTEM, RIGK-G-SYSTEM and RIGK-PICKUP, as well as sector-specific solutions for agriculture, ensure that packaging and complex material streams are efficiently returned and recycled to a high standard.

Quality, innovation and a strong network

The accredited PlastCert unit ensures reliable material standards and transparent recycling processes. Together with plastship and Hannawald Plastik, RIGK combines operational execution, digitalisation and marketing within an integrated network, enabling practical innovations to be transferred directly into industry.

Exchange and progress on site

RIGK’s parallel presence at IFAT and PRSE underscores its strategy: staying close to companies’ challenges, connected across the entire value chain and clearly focused on implementable solutions. Both trade fairs provide an opportunity to discuss current challenges, initiate projects and achieve tangible progress in the circular economy.
