Accessibility Statement

This website is largely compliant with the requirements of the BFSG as well as the harmonized European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (08-2018).

1. Status of compliance with the requirements
The compliance with accessibility requirements was checked by an external provider on May 28, 2025. The review found that the website mostly fulfills the mentioned requirements, especially for digital business processes.

  • The following content is only partially accessible:
Not all content, including the navigation texts and the accessibility statement, is available in plain language. Therefore, these pages are not fully compliant with WCAG success criteria 3.1.3 (Unusual Words), 3.1.4 (Abbreviations), and 3.1.5 (Reading Level).
  • The navigation texts and the accessibility statement are not yet available in German Sign Language. Therefore, these pages do not comply with success criterion 1.2.6 (Sign Language).

There may be isolated cases of limitations with regard to the following requirements:

  • There may be color combinations where contrast does not fully meet the requirements of BITV-RP (WCAG success criterion 1.4.3 – Contrast Minimum).
  • In some cases, the content structure does not comply with a semantic hierarchy (WCAG success criterion 1.3.1 – Info and Relationships).
  • Some images may lack a description (WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 – Non-text Content).
  • Some video content without audio description may contain information that is not exclusively conveyed through sound (WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 – Audio Description).
  • For some PDF content, no alternative text versions are available, or the PDF files themselves are not accessible (WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 – Non-text Content).

We believe that immediate remediation of these issues would constitute a disproportionate burden as defined by accessibility regulations.
Nevertheless, we are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website.
