23. April 2024
Wiesbaden, April 2024 - Ahead of IFAT 2024 (May 13th to 17th, Munich), RIGK emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach in plastic recycling. Current examples demonstrate the implementation of this process into the practice of collection and recycling. RIGK will be showcasing at Booth 316 in Hall A6 alongside GVÖ Gebinde-Verwertungsgesellschaft der Mineralölwirtschaft, the Kreislaufsystem Blechverpackungen Stahl GmbH (KBS), Sintac Recycling subsidiary company plastship GmbH.
A Comprehensive Concept for the Plastic Cycle
With the establishment of the PlastCert department, focusing on the certification of recyclability, recycled content, and recycling processes, as well as the integration of Hannawald Plastik GmbH in 2023, RIGK has completed its expertise along the entire value chain. Today, the scope of activities ranges from Design for Recycling to the licensing of packaging materials and the distribution of recyclates. In 2024, RIGK aims to further expand this integral approach and thus its sustainable contribution to a functioning circular economy, aiming to increase collection volumes and recycling rates, and enhance the quality of rezyclates.
