The end of the year invites reflection on the defining moments of the past year. At RIGK, the focus is not only on celebrating successes and positive developments but also on social engagement. Particularly important is the promotion of diversity, sport, and social change – areas that create sustainable momentum for community and the environment.

Diversity as a corporate philosophy

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are core values of RIGK’s corporate philosophy. They shape actions both internally and in collaboration with partners. Through targeted initiatives, RIGK fosters an environment that values diversity, promotes equal opportunities, and breaks down barriers.

Supporting local sports: for physical and mental fitness

A key component of RIGK’s social engagement is the support of local sports clubs. This contributes to strengthening fitness and a sense of community. Supported clubs include SV Wehen 1926 Wiesbaden GmbH, FC Waldems e.V., VfL Fortuna Finthen e.V., SV Zackenkicker Oberems 1984 e.V., and SV 1921 Wallrabenstein e.V. A recent example is the partnership with the first women's volleyball team of  Volleyballclubs Goldener Grund 1990 e.V. (VcGG) from Selters (Taunus). The newly formed team started this year in new kits sponsored by RIGK and has already celebrated some successes. These partnerships demonstrate how sport nurtures young talent and unites communities.

Social engagement: support for children and inclusion

RIGK regularly supports charitable organisations such as the Bärenherz Children’s Hospice Wiesbaden and the Mainz Children’s Cancer Support Association e.V. to give hope to families in difficult times. Additionally, the company supports accessibility and inclusion through the purchase of Aktion-Mensch annual lottery tickets.

RIGK also lives its social responsibility internally: The recognition as one of the “Best Employers in Hesse” in the “Great Place to Work” competition highlights the commitment to a positive working environment.

Markus Dambeck, Chairman of the management, summarises:
