RIGK has been successfully recertified for its environmental and quality management and is distinguished by the continuous optimisation of its systems.
A system is only as good as its users. Behind RIGK’s successful environmental and quality management are 30 employees who share a common mission: to continuously adapt services to meet customer wishes and make processes as simple as possible. And this has been a success as the German Association for Technical Inspection, TÜV, has, once again, certified that RIGK fulfils all the requirements of the strict international DIN norms. “The basis of our environmental and quality management is the sharing of knowledge,” says Maria Hentze who oversees the implementation of both DIN norms internally. “We have integrated an internal tool into daily working life which depicts all processes transparently and in detail. All employees can access this at any time which ensures process continuity even if an employee is absent.”
Quality and environmental management concerns all work areas at RIGK and is noticeable for customers on a daily basis. The figures speak for themselves: in a current survey, 98 per cent of customers expressed their complete satisfaction with the waste management specialist.
Ticket for customer satisfaction
With a digital ticket system, RIGK offers its customers maximum transparency and a customised service. Using this system, employees of all RIGK sites can view the latest order status and check the exact dispatch status of the ordered packaging and information materials by means of traffic light coding. From in-house to the warehouse, all operative RIGK employees can immediately enter the required data in the system and, in doing so, guarantee it is always up-to-date.
Office with a small footprint
On the way to becoming a paperless office, RIGK uses the latest processes. Here the key word is digitalisation with which RIGK employees intend to minimise their ecological footprint. All documents – from the order to invoicing – are handled digitally, if possible, via a CRM system. Important forms such as orders and acceptance slips are available to customers online 24/7. The databank-based processes enable the generation of a cross-company, data protection-compliant and transparent exchange of information to a customer’s online portal. This helps speed up customer orders and collection requests and considerably increases user-friendliness.
TÜV Rhineland has already certified the environmental and quality management of RIGK for the next three years. An achievement which the waste management specialist will by no means rest on. It has already set itself new goals which it hopes to achieve by 2021. After all, quality knows no standstill.
