One trademark, many advantages

The RIGK trademark signals to your customers that they as commercial and industrial final user can simply hand in empty used packaging at one of the nationwide RIGK collection points– uncomplicated, free of charge and environmentally-friendly! For this purpose, you as producer/distributor label your packaging with the RIGK trademark and your individual agreement number.

Which packaging is returnable?

Using the RIGK-G-SYSTEM, we will take back your packaging for hazardous substances which are subject to labelling obligations according to the Hazardous Substances Law, the European Convention on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, and/or acc. GHS. Packaging containing gases or explosive, infectious or radioactive substances is excluded from recovery.
For this purpose, you must provide RIGK with a list of the packaging for hazardous substances at the beginning of the collaboration, and give us access to your EU safety data sheets. The packaging to be reported is then classified according to its hazard potential into reprocessing groups.
The RIGK-G-SYSTEM must not be confused with the RIGK-SYSTEM for packaging of non-hazardous substances. It is essential that these systems are handled separately from one another.

Sustainability through energetic recycling

As a contract partner of the RIGK-G-SYSTEM, you act in an environmentally-friendly and sustainable manner: After the recovery, your packaging for hazardous substances is energetically recycled. Here the energy contained in the plastics is used for the generation of electricity, steam and district heating. RIGK ensures that all the selected systems have the necessary legal permits and fulfil the prerequisites laid down for energetic recycling in terms of the closed loop recycling management law (KrWG).

Become a contract partner and profit in many diverse ways

For you as producer/distributor, the participation in the RIGK-G-SYSTEM is as simple as it is advantageous: after you have closed a RIGK-G-contract with us, you may apply the RIGK trademark to your packaging. You pay your fee to RIGK depending on the type of reprocessing group and the weight of your packaging quantities put into the German market. This license fee covers your entire costs for reliable and legal return and recycling.

This is to your advantage, as you save valuable time and can concentrate fully on your core business and on your customers! And: you will receive an individual climate protection certificate  for your reduced CO2 emissions through eco-efficient recycling.

We will provide you with a customised and non-binding offer - please contact our sales team.
